On the first weekend in July the Dutch Royal Palais “Het Loo” was a catwalk for automotive beauties. There the Palais Het Loo Concours D´Elegance took place for the 12th time. An international panel of judges reviewed the exhibited vehicles and chose a Peugeot type 92 from 1907 as the “Best of Show. Among the exhibited vehicles of the concours marveled also the Cadillac Sedan Convertible of Princess Wilhelmina of 1937. A special field was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the death of Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari. Unfortunately, the event was overshadowed by heavily rain showers. Still, thousands of spectators came in the Park of the estate and enjoyed the entertainment with music, lifestyle, and presentations. Between the individual downpours, there was a demonstration sprint on a cordoned-off road through the Park. Here especially the Renaults from the exhibition to Renault sport and racing cars impressed the spectators.
