Diamond Atelier recently presented his latest work, the DA #6, based on a BMW R100R. The initial idea for this bike was minimalism and a clear line. Back to the roots and some borrows from the DA #1 bike. This bike is a masterpiece in every way. The BMW was equipped with a free-floating prototype rear frame, on which a classically appealing tail hump rests. This creates an optically balanced design. The adapted tank is equipped with a fully retractable tank lid. A lowered fork, custom-made Wilbert rear shock absorbers, Metzler Racetec Semi slick tires and 320mm brake discs provide a maximum driving experience. Some of the details can be seen only at a second glance. On the CNC machined triple clamp, a 0.17 Carat Diamond is located below the embedded digital speedometer. The titanium silencer is a Special Edition for this machine.
Even if they look several times, you will not enter a special feature. The DA #6 has no starting button. The motor is started by triggering a special sequence on the brake lever. An alarm system protects the motorcycle from unauthorized access. Hanging cables are also impossible to find on the front, because the speedometer is controlled by a clock on the gearbox.
Once again, you have the feeling that the DA #6 is the best bike from the manufactory Diamond Atelier – but they are already working on a new bike.
