Girard-Perregeaux Competizione Stradale

The renowned Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregeuax presents a new watch for the 225 anniversary collection, which is inspired by the traditional car racing chronograph. Model Chronographs are the “Ready-Go” produced in the 60s and the “Club Italia” chronograph from 1987. These two chronographs inspired the designers of the new watch surely is representable. The dial of the new Competizoine Stradale comes in several variations. A bright and a black edition and a carbon look. The first two variations come either with leather or link bracelet in stainless steel effect and appear more classic. This is also because of the mushroom-shaped snap fasteners of chronograph , as on stopwatches of the 50s. This gives the watch its very classic and sporty appearance.

Girard-Perregeaux introduces the first own brand chronograph watch with automatic movement. The work can be seen on the back of the clock, thanks to the transparent cover. It’s the in-house caliber GP033300, consisting of 435 components, of which 63 are jewels. The automatic reserve is amounted to 46 hours.
The recessed chronograph displays are located on 9: 00 (hour meter), 6: 00 (minute counter) and 3: 00 (tenth seconds). A date is set at 4:30 in the dial window. The Red second hand stands out well from the dial.
The price for the Girard Perregeaux Competizione Stradale chronograph is about euro 10,000 with crocodile leather strap, Euro 10,700 with steel braclet and the Competizoine Circuito carbon optics EUR 13.800. The movement from the top is partly visible due to the honeycomb pattern in the display on the Circuito.
