AMG plans hypercar

Already in 2010, Mercedes Benz presented the concept “Biomes” at the Los Angeles Motor Show. A concept car with low weight and an extremely tapered body shape. Quite in the sense of a modern Le Mans racing cars. Now, this study could serve as a role model for a new hyper super sports car by AMG.
The automotive market is currently characterized by superlative hyper sports cars. Performance cars have up to 1000 HP. So the new AMG Supersport should reach at least 800 to 1000 HP. Conceivably this is achievable by using the 4 litre V8 engine used in the AMG GT R in conjunction with electric motors on all four wheels. Active aerodynamics will adapt at higher speeds. An adjustable rear spoiler supports braking. The all-wheel drive may be supported with an active rear wheel steering.
This new car will be presented mid-2017. That AMG will match wits with the Aston Martin RB 001, because at the moment is this the absolute shooting star in the hotly contested market.
